The Moravian karst
Let me introduce the Moravian karst. It is the most important karst in the middle of Europe. There are about 1100 caves and only 4 caves are opened for tourists and one cave is for asthmatic children - Císařská jeskyně cave.
The karst offers lots of interesting places. There are Punkevní caves with the underground river of Punkva and the gorge of Macocha. You can see the Punkevní caves on small boats. There is the Kateřínská cave with block stalagmites. The cave of Balcarka is nice for its rich decorations and the caves in Sloup and Šošůvka are full of gorges. In the Moravian karst there are lots of special karst canyons, they are called Pustý žleb canyon and Suchý žleb canyon, they are only for bikers and pedestrians. There is a special small train and a cable railway for transporting tourists.
The whole karst offers lots of marked tourist routes for professional tourists or for families with children.
